The Saboba Medical Centre
Saboba Medical Centre started as a small Assemblies of God mission clinic in 1948 and had grown to become an 82-bed hospital. SMC serving as the district hospital for the Saboba and Chereponi district, as well as serving a large patient population just across the Oti River in western Togo. We estimate our catchment population to be roughly 120,000 people, including our Togolese patients.

Hereafter referred to as SMC, Saboba Medical Centre is located in the town of Saboba, the district capital of the Saboba District. Prior to late 2007, the Saboba and Chereponi District were combined as the Saboba/Chereponi District, With SMC serving as the district hospital.
